Here's the finished work. The hand took a great deal of observation to get right due to the myriad tonal changes taking place there. Given that this is a full sheet pastel it's quite an imposing piece.
Now I'm deciding what the next piece in the series will be...

Ah... I was wondering if anyone was going to bring this question up. The greens are a mix of various warm and cool greens of different values intermixed on the paper and then overlaid with some turquoise in different values. I love the energy this mix created in the background.
